Dear Mr. Romero,
Have you ever worked so hard to achieve a goal? Even after you had so much to do, you were stressing because you just can’t make time? Mr. Romero, that’s how I feel about English 1. I think I deserve an A because I mastered the step-up-to writing skills, I know how to tell a quest story, and I mastered the qualities of reading a challenging book.
I deserve an A because I mastered the step-up-to writing skills you taught me. I mastered the skills because in my essays that I write I always use my green, yellow, and red sentences, and I also use my transitions. These skills perfect my writing and also help me receive A’s on essays.
Secondly, I deserve an A because I can tell if any story is a quest story or not. With your help I was able to turn my quest story into a perfect narrative. Stories we read that were quest stories were Huckleberry Finn, Black Boy, and the Day I Won the Streets of Memphis. These stories had very interesting quest.
Lastly I deserve an A because I mastered the qualities of reading a challenging book. Huckleberry Finn is a very challenging book. After I finished the book I felt like I accomplished a lot. The way you helped us organize our notes were very helpful.
In conclusion, I deserve an A. As I leave your class, I would be happy to leave with a smile real wide, because I worked really hard in your class. Don’t you think I deserve an A too?
Sincerely, Brittany Davis
